I feel no need to respond by PM.

Your basic errors are in assuming a) that intent is all, and b) two wrongs make a right.

a) Reckless indifference to life is a crime.

b) While we may not be intentionally trying to kill civilians, we are intentionally bombing places we can be reasonably assured civilians will be, like bombing bridges in the middle of the day.

By your logic, it's okay if I toss a bomb into a crowded theater as long as I intended simply to destroy the theater, and the deaths of the patrons were merely collateral damage. Doesn't work that way. If I bomb somewhere with reckless indifference to potential loss of life, it's murder. I may not be able to make a case, as you put it, that "NATO pilots or commanders have deliberately targeted civilians in order to kill them specifically." But I CAN make a very good case that Nato pilots or commanders have targeted targets in civilian areas with reckless indifference as to whether civilians will be killed.

c) You assume that because Milosovic is committing atrocities, we are entitled to commit atrocities. If you really believe that, we have nothing to talk about. If your answer is, well, ouratrocities are excused because our intentions are honorable in stopping Milosovic's atrocities, I can only tell you to look at the facts and be man enough to admit that when an assumption fails, you stop and try something else, you don't just keep on killing people indiscriminately in order not to look bad (which is, IMO, the ONLY reason Nato is keeping up its bombing at this point.)
