Bob, I think I found the reason for Aden issuing all those postage stamps.

They were needed for birth announcements:

Sorry. South Yemen is not an oil-rich country; it's better known for its khat. It does have some very interesting architecture, though. Not a good place to go alone; full of bandits outside the cities.

Please note, Bob, that stamps from Aden, which hasn't existed as a nation (or more accurately, a British protetectorate) in a rather long while, have nothing whatsoever to do with "oil production notes" from supposed oil leases in Texas.

As others have remarked, you can't possibly be as dumb as you pretend to be.
