There you go again. You just cannot let it die, whatever is your problem.

I don't care what "grates" you, Richard. And I don't care whether or not you like any of my posts. You don't have to. It's not my job to please you in any way. It's funny, though, that you continue to ignore the many constructive and helpful messages I have posted here over the years. I wonder why you do that.

If you remember, though, our first communication was a post from you to me. You initiated this childish dialog and, for some mysterious reason, notwithstanding my polite suggestion that we take this matter private, you continue to feel everyone on this thread wants to see you continue to criticize me. Frankly, I think you're nuts. And I think you're an insult to others here who aren't interested in reading your gripes with me.

I dismiss you as just another wierdo on the threads. I have too many good friends here on S.I. to worry about you. But I do feel sorry for you. Perhaps you should seek professional counseling.

Footnote: You know, I was just about ready to come on here and apologize to you for our exchanges tonight, ask if there was any way we could be friends. And I see you continue with your crap. Oh, well. You're hopeless. What a shame.

FWIW - I for one, appreciate Bill's posts. If Bill exposes some fraud or another, that's good in my book. To say "but there are *other* frauds" is a non-sequitur. WTF? What does that have to do with anything? "Hitler was a bad man" "Shut up, Genghis Khan was just as bad, just because you bitch about Hitler is not going to make anything better, there will always be bad people"... Huh? Come again?

It's very "sophisticated" to say "gee, they're all bad", "buyer beware" - one of the points of SI is to let consumers voice their experiences and opinions. Why should they be repressed, just because there are *other* frauds? What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?

And if Bill chooses to give of his time and perform socially useful functions of exposing frauds and "complaining" about abuses, kudos to him! There are many consumers who rely on SI to be warned about bad brokers, bad newsletters, bad seminars etc. How the hell does it help them to simply hear a blanket "buyer beware"? Gee, thanks, but that's about as useful as hearing the "buy low sell high" mantra. We know that, thank you very much. What we want to know if THIS particular newsletter or seminar is a fraud and why - it might save us time and narrow the search for useful info... unless you don't believe useful info can be gleaned anywhere.

Finally, nobody is forced to read anybody's posts. Freedom of speech is a wonderful thing. As is your choice what to listen to and what not.

Bill, keep up the good work.

Regards,

Morgan

Hello Richard,

I noticed from your profile you attended MSU. So did I. Since we are about the same age, perhaps we were in the same class. I was a Kappa Sig. About you?

I want you to know that Bill Dwyer is a good friend of mine. He is a stand-up kind of guy who will go the extra mile to help a friend. You're probably the same way.

That's right it is none of my business, but I think you might want to hold out an olive branch to Bill. It's better to have this guy "fer ya" than " agin' ya". Besides that, who needs more stress? I'm worn out just reading all the zingers going back and forth.

FWIW.

Bill

I apologize for the "proving you're an idiot" remark, and also for my part of our brief but antagonistic dialog. It should never have occurred and I regret posting my comments at the time.
