Ok! Palm can connect to window based PCs, but , connection is one thing , communicate with the remote computer is another. Say, I was on a business trip in Europe, and need to run certain window based program with input file which was in excel format,both the program and input file were in my PCs at my office in New York and after finish running the program , the output will be dump to a certain output file which is also in excel format. After finish running the program remotely controlled by my PDA in Europe, I also need to extract the output data file from the PC in my office to my PDA in Europe so that I can present the data tomorrow in Paris. I do not think the Palm can do all these jobs.
