I guess my point is that in an ideal world, I'd like to see stocks rise and fall on the basis of fundamentals and news. Not on the basis of fluffed up company press releases and "Morgan Stanley Reiterates Buy" (see Intel this morning) type of stuff. (Reiterate?
didn't we hear them the first time!)

And you're absolutely right!, I do whine and cry (publicly and privatly) when these idiots cause my options positions to be blown out with 10 point rallies generated by this nonsense. Not only do I cry and whine, I kick the cat and write long winded diatribes on SI!

But I'll continue to trade options, I've made a sheetload of money on them over the years! Have been playing with house money for a long time.
