I am also surprised by how right-conservative this thread is. We probably have many more fiercely conservative investors posting than liberal high tech workers.

I think you'd find more Libertarians libertarian.org than you think. Libertarians believe in small governments performing limited functions, believe that personal liberties are paramount, and believe in personal responsibility.

The Right hates them due to their stance on personal freedoms and the Left hates them due to their belief in personal responsibility. Both hate them due to their belief in small government.

An old saw that I've heard that has a kernel of truth: Gun Owner Rights receive little support because Republicans hate rights and Democrats hate guns.

- tech2000 - you don't have universal healthcare. You do have a universal waiting list. And the average Canadian workers' health costs are higher than the American. Which is why Canadians are now being given HMO-type vouchers to come across the border for coverage

- anyway.... I can't wait for this lousy trial to be over with. Today, it looks like they proved nothing - as they can't get over the fact that MSFT doesn't have a monopoly on computing.
