As goes Naz, so goes AMAT generally. I think we'll see it ultimately bend to the will of the broader market even though beaten down lately. I'm staying with my earlier strategy/thought that AMAT will continue to drift down.. with an extremely skittish market always eyeing a possible stomach churning day. End of June may be perfect if for no other reason than the coincidence of my cash flow finally becoming positive around that date.

Hi Everybody,

Whether we are Investors of AMAT or just Observers of the stock, we stay and contribute in this Thread because back in our minds we know that we are in the company of the brightest of Brains and that AMAT is the Leader in a Business Sector that will outlast all Business Sectors. AMAT makes the equipment that makes the CHIPs --- that thing that serves as the alternate Brain of many living things (artificial or not) that will thrive now and in the future.

Whether we like it or not, CHIPs are here to stay and so is AMAT --- until AMAT is eaten by a bigger fish or until Science finds a way to let CHIPS reproduce themselves by cloning or by bearing their own children ... and that will come when I am long long dead!

We know that CHIPs will only Increase and in Investing in AMAT we are sure to Increase our money in it... But sometimes we worry too much about Chip Makers killing each other to survive and forget that AMAT is there to benefit whoever the Victors will be --- and then let ourselves be Scared out of a Sure Investment in AMAT ...

We already know but this article titled "Hidden Chips" in today's Sunday issue in the San Jose Mercury News Computing Section will help remind us of the Ever Increasing use of CHIPS: ---
