Neo - There's nothing wrong with calling a spade a spade. When somebody lies, it ought to be pointed out. I guess these liberal types believe you should never speak your mind when you have something unfavorable to say because you might hurt somebody's feelings. Tough noogies. JLA

One of the problems that I have with liberals is that they don't call themselves by their correct name. They are in really Socialists.

The offense has to be particularly egregious to call someone a liar outright, since that is in the category of "fighting words". Also, it is preferrable if one can prove one's case immediately, instead of having to see- saw over the same terrain over- and- over...
