Neither would I. I'm sorry if I gave that impression.

IMO, a change in the long term trend of rising ASPs would be a significant and traumatic change to the underlying economics of semiconductor manufacturing. The last three years of declining ASPs are just a glimpse of the pain that would be inflicted on the industry were the long term trend to reverse.

Regarding letting people hold whatever views they are comfortable with, I do sometimes wonder why I bother. Or why I don't at least bookmark my previous posts on the subject so I can just respond with links instead of repeating myself. Guess I inherited the "teacher gene" from my Dad after all...
