Do you mean companies like America Online? @Home? Time Warner?

Who cares if he knows? Henry Blodget has nothing to do with the market cap of Amazon in 2001 and beyond.

So maybe AMZN should cut marketing budget and forget going into new product categories and just shrivel up and decide that the internet isn't changing the world and that they can't compete with Barnes & Noble and Wal-Mart and just try to hold on to its current 8mm customers.

Let's see $10 x 157mm shares = $1.6billion. Amazon should do at least $1.6b in revenues this year so that puts 'em at 1x revenues for growth of about 160%. Sorry, that is ridiculous.
