Greg, Conference Board showed decline by .1% in economic activity:

from Dow Jones:

<<The market shrugged off another economic indicator released earlier in
the day that showed the U.S. economic expansion slowed slightly in April.
The Conference Board's composite index of leading indicators fell 0.1%
in April to 107.1, according to preliminary estimates. The leading index for
March was also revised to show no increase.
Traders also await data this week on new-home sales and factory orders
for April and Friday's critical report on May nonfarm-payrolls growth and
unemployment. >>

obviously, the market is taking a selective outlook.
