Yes, I called long distance to a suburban New Orleans--Slidell--BellSouth.net access # and got a flawless connection. I tried this 3 times and never a problem. The problem is only from my home and only local access #'s, be they BellSouth.net or ATTWorldNet.

Even if it is not intentional, they ARE still failing to adequately support their traditional ISP customers. They certainly aren't offering apologies or refunds.

When I do finally contact my public service commissioner, I will be sure to tell them I stumped some telecom gurus on SI
