Dear Robert G: After months of experiencing the poor leadership from DC and the flunky Generals running the war just about every soldier, sailor and airman felt this way. It could have been won quickly and to the betterment of the poor Viets who are currently starving. But instead we chose to dither about whether the Commies were really that bad and whether we should have been a signatory to SEATO and hence we fought a war without a goal and without the requisite conviction required to win. Indeed it turned out to be a great waste of lives (what war isn't?) but more due to our wishy washy prosecution of it than anything else. We would have done the N.Koreans a great favor by winning that one. (The N.Koreans are currently starving)

But where are all the flower children and the like calling for peace today while yet another Democrat flower child from the past dithers his way through an action that so far has the US invading a sovereign country (from the air)without having been harmed by that sovereign country, with no plan to win and no plan of withdrawal? These are not the great moments of our nation. This administration reveals the venality which this country has embraced. Another great example of liberalism run amuck. With a little more popular support this bozo would have us all saying Zieg Heil Clinton.

As Jeremiah urged let us return to the old paths.
