Doug,
Looking at the 52 week chart, there is clearly no real support at $27. There is, however, reasonable support at $24. As you probably are aware, when using TA as a trading tool, it is sometimes useful to use short term support levels and particularly the daily MACD for trading. However, investors should probably look at the weekly MACD and support levels for confirmation when taking a position. You can draw your own conclusions about the merits of taking a position right now. All I can say is that the averages are all pointing down, and near term, the stock looks ugly.

Regards,
Robert

<Does any one know what happened to the $27 support that Nick was so
emphatic about.?>

first, 'emphatic' overstates what i said- reread my post. that said, from where i sit it looks like it provided support (hence the term 'support'). even si's lame charts show the $27 support. it has held it since wednesday. if you cannot see this doug, i cannot help you. what is your point anyway? you pegged 28 as spt, it clearly was not as nn didn't even hiccup at that level. if it had been support, we would have tried to hold it (like we are now @ 27)or dropped to 24. right? it did neither and has (thus far) held 27. get over it. you clearly have issues with admitting when you're wrong. whenever you are, you step up your condescending posts to others on the thread. your posting history is less than stellar onthis stock. you act like a hurt long most of the time when nn is down. i'll believe that you're deftly switching from short to long on nn when you start posting when you make the moves. until then i will continue to view you as a hurt long who is underwater onthe stock. your last bout of heavy negative comments marked the last bottom with you commenting that a a poster who had gone short @ 23 7/8 was going to 'make a killing'. i use you as a contrary indicator for the stock. your ta calls are too interlaced with emotion to be of any use. ta is an emotionless tool.

enough already- i just couldn't let another one of your attempted jabs go by without comment.

all imo only....nick
