Hello all! China Private Sector Trade Mission Due In Israel JERUSALEM, Jun 1, 1999 -- (Reuters) The first-ever delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to visit Israel will arrive on Tuesday as part of an effort to increase technological cooperation, Israel's Industry and Trade Ministry said on Monday. The delegation, made up of representatives of 15 leading Chinese companies, is interested in establishing joint ventures in fields ranging from telecommunications to power stations, the ministry said. Sun Guangxiang, China's deputy minister of foreign trade and economic cooperation, will head the mission. Israeli exports to China totaled $128 million in 1998, while imports amounted to $290 million. ((c) 1999 Reuters)
