There's a setting in the dial-up networking menu that will allow you to show/hide the little green connection icon. Take a look here to see if that feature is being 'hidden': Open My Computer Open Dial-up Networking On the menu car, select Connections and then Settings You should have a check mark in the "Show an icon on taskbar after connected" box. If not, place on there, and click ok. The next time you connect, the little icon should re-appear. Rich
