Ken, This is PR...not the underlying goal. I don't think Barret would be so bold as to tell the market (competitors) what their actual long term plan is. I suspect that Intel is interested mainly in the hardware aspects of Dialogic...not the software so much... They want to integrate the telephony interface cards onto a turn-key server I suspect.... Middleware does Intel little good unless they plan on going into the OS business...which with their investment in RedHat I suppose is a possibility. THAT however would rock this world big time! OG
