DB 13:58 THAI CENTRAL BANK DOUBTED COUNTRY COULD MAKE EXPORT TARGETS LAST WEEK-AP.
DB 13:58 THAI MINISTER SAYS COUNTRY COULD MAKE EXPORT TARGETS-AP.

Thailand has apparently received stolen target technology from the PRC. The problem will be convincing Yugoslavia to buy and place the bullseyes on their military targets. OTOH, NATO's record to date indicates that placing them on hospitals may protect them better.

Mike - I don't get the huge moves in the cyclicals today. Suddenly everything is up 5-8%. Aren't the P/E's supposed to low at the earnings peak and high at the bottom? I have been nibbling in puts on some of them thinking if the earnings are falling or barely higher this year (peak) then the only direction is down for the stocks as multiples should contract. Is it just people selling overpriced net stocks and buying way overpriced industrial companies or do I have a big flaw in my analysis?

Thanks,

Peter
