This issue of shortages of dry wall is nothing new and has been around for many months (this coming from an associate of mine who is a general contractor). This becomes another tactic to create more uncertainty in the market place.

As I recall in Bloomberg yesterday, the GDP figues were adjusted lower from 4.5% down to 4.1%, because it under estimated the level of imports that came into the US.
