The selling is obviously "inflation" related, as the Street factors in a rate hike and as the 30 year long bond nears the 6% yield. That said, don't rule out the fact that the brokerage houses are eagerly out screwing the little guy to collect their margin pound of flesh. Today was the day that a lot of margin calls were to be collected. Lots people thought that Friday's rise gave them a reprieve. No can do. Now they are panicking. FWIW
