OT- Yes, and that is why it is wasted...I saw them cut a whole piece for a small triangle piece when there were large pieces sitting right there ... so since they are paid per sheet, they waste it. The drywallers are the worst!!! The carpenters put up a kitchen wall with attached soffits, and the nasty drywallers came in and when they were done with it, that wall was somewhat twisted and it was 1 1/2" out of plumb.(it wasn't before they started!) We will make them rip it down and do it again! Having totally remoldeled our current house (added a second floor and 2 1/2 car garage) my husband calls them on every mistake they make... the expeditor now realizes we are not the "here's the money, see you in a few months when you are done" type... we look at that house every day...if the expeditor says so and so will be there on a certain day to do whatever and no one shows up... we call him on the carpet for an answer. Waste waste waste.... Cedar siding delivered over a month ago... left to sit outside....warped... The sider ran out and said there were too many bad pieces... I'm sure as a general contractor you get the people calling that are mad at the expeditor. We should send a bill to get paid for all the mistakes(major ones) that he flat out missed. And this is one of the better builders around here!!! Annette
