>> Now that we have seen everyones present portfolio, I wonder what everyone would buy if they started from scratch now, in this market.

Count my vote as a big yes! Sitting with 3 Gorillas and a King, I feel perfectly comfortable with my holdings, and consider each of them a buy at their current levels.

Glad you had a swinging week, Bill. I spent most of mine painting, pruning, and mowing. Oh, and moaning over the market <g>. We're between earnings seasons, so who cares if the mm's and traders want to screw with prices? As a long term player with some teriffic stocks, I'll wait for the deciding votes - eps and revenue growth.

Have a great time in Avalon. We vacationed there years ago and loved it; kept expecting to see Bogie and Bacall coming out of one of those swank 30's style restaurants and bars. It's got to be the ultimate setting for Swing.

One of today's top five gainers was MRBK...Marimba...makes internet based software designed to strengthen relationships between business partners, employees, and customers. Might be one to watch in the CSA area. Don't know a thing about it, but it popped up on my screen, so it's worth passing along.

Lindy: Were I to realign my assets today, I'd plunk one third in each of MSFT, CSCO, and QCOM. New money would spec among some mid-cap techs...things I'd watch like a hawk...even though any one of them would be small chunks, it would keep me on the edge of my chair.
