I'm in total agreement with the drug, prostitution, nudity, helmet and seatbelt laws. Gun laws and drunk driving laws are a little different because of the victim aspect. There is no victim other than oneself with the others - well drugs are a little complicated so lets just take the simple case of experimental drugs or herbal remedies etc, I think the FDA should loosen up and anybody can get the drugs they want. So you see, I agree with much of what you say. Thats how far the right has alienated their constituency... I dispise the right as you well know even though I'm actually on their side with many issues. They've alienated so many women but they don't know it they are such chauvanists... I guess they will find out soon enough though.

BTW I've gotten 3 seatbelt tickets in California - twice they actually pulled me over to cite me for not wearing a seatbelt. How do you like that? But I'd still prefer to live here vs. the bible belt.

Sticking my neck out again:

"...and no drunken driving laws."

I sincerely believe that there should be no prohibition on driving drunk. However, if you kill someone while driving drunk it should be murder.
