GLM management has their own policies they need to adhere to (as well as their own debt problems). Their issues appear to be financial, not fundamental. Whether or not they know more about the industry than anyone on this thread is irrelevant.

If you're not sure about FLC, don't buy it. Lots of bargains out there There are plenty of other individuals and institutions who will buy the FLC shares you passed up (or shorted).

<<if GLM saw financial problems with FLC that were such they couldn't be partners>>

Is this correct? I have to admit I don't subscribe to Bloomberg, so I only saw the post from Linkdog. Does the article state that GLM saw financial problems with FLC?

Frankly, this is the first I've heard that GLM and FLC were previously in merger discussions. Does Bloomberg state that as fact or rumor?

As I'm long FLC, I'd be interested in any details you could provide.

TIA
