Greg,

We'll see. For the record, I think the IBM "news" is overblown, too. I think DaveB posted some really good insight about what their RMBS "support" meant. OTOH, I fully expect a steady stream of negative RMBS articles along the lines of First IBM, Next ???? when it comes to RMBS. I just didn't want to have my account in the lurch while this plays out over the next few weeks. Since I liquidated the account, I should be able to be ready to buy stocks within a week.

bp-----> a buyer ?????

Gregory, that is a fantastic article & pretty much shots down that crap that was put out Fri. night re: IBM. I think it clearly illustrates how low some will go to scare people. I was very skeptical Fri. night & now I know why.

Greg,

Nice! I bought more today and almost pulled the trigger on a chunk at the close but did not. No big deal. That article helps me keep the faith!

IBM said it decided against using Rambus in some of its PCs because Rambus is an expensive technology.

What happens when yields improve and it is less expensive? <gg>

Robert Manetta, Intel spokesman, said there have been no announced changes in its plans for Camino and Rambus and the company expects the technology to be widely available in the third quarter<b/>.

That's by August folks!

Gregory,

What time did this article hit the streets? I tried buying a few k at the very end of the day, but missed 3/4 because the market closed. will there be a sympathy bounce in the AM or was this already out?

Thanks,
brian
