truedog, No not at all-Politics means having and holding one's own opinions- especially in the face of attack! Agreed- Carter does better as a social ambassador than as a President-too detail oriented. President Reagan was the best in handling the Office of the Presidency in a corporate CEO-style IMO- a very effective technique when the organization is too big for one person to handle....

Maybe you would be happier in my case to know that a very good friend of mine whose opinions I greatly respect (and who agrees with me that Clinton has made a total mess of the Kosovo situation) was a high official in the Reagan admininstration and met with Reagan almost daily?

Is that enough namedropping for you?
