Hello chris, NotNeiderhoffer et al. I guess I'll make my entrance on the thread and speak for TD as well.

I thought the results were fantastic and importantly, showed measurable improvement on the gross margin line - as had been expected. I'm sure we'll get more flavor tomorrow after the analysts talk to mgmt, but I'm sure the outlook will be very positive. It will be interesting to see how the backlog looks.

Not much technology talk today - what can I say that you thread veterans haven't already? Seems like they're kicking Oct/LU's butt, have several major opportunities with merged RBOCs, have the irreversible trend of A/D cell technology and increasing mou's on their side and may even seem to be benefiting from a resurrection in Asia.

What I'd really like to see is 'calling party pays' in the US. That would really kick the US into cell overdrive. We'll see - in the meantime, I'm very happy with their execution and look forward to the many new apps that will propel this company forward (in addition to the $11B messaging mkt alone over the next four years).

>"bigger than lollapalooza, badder than altamont, fuggetabout Lillith Fair"

now, NN, if we're being picky, it's actually "lilith." but i only know that (c'mon, i knew you'd ask) cuz the attendees here at our local venue recently achieved the world's largest-ever synchronized ovulation.

made guinness or something.

back on topic: isn't next week's supahcomm99 suspiciously absent from baker's list? he must have excellent taste: atlanta.

LU (the devil) goes down to georgia ...

happen to have a CC number on ya there, asomdeus?

thanks,
-chris.
