mr. mark, re:"but before we organize a parade in cramer's honor..."

Hi mr. mark,

First, let me say that it is so nice to hear you disagree with me in such a persuasive and reasoned manner that it is a pleasure to respond. I have seen too many disagreements degrade into cyber schoolyard scuffles, and I am so pleased when I find others who can discuss issues.

So, thank you for your response.

On to the argument...from the tone of the posts to which I was referring, I was under the impression that Cramer was sharing private information that was not found publicly or through another source. So, he was admitting his failures, sharing these equally with his successes as part of his balanced blow-by-blow style. I would be very surprised if this was not the case.

You are right, if we all see a person spill the milk, it adds nothing for the person to tell us they spilled the milk with a tone of proud admission... it makes the person look insecure.

Again thanx, and just my opinion.

By the way, if you have any articles or info that lend support to your argument, I am sure I would find them most enlightening.

Jon :)

i'm just trying to see why you are impressed by a guy who says he was wrong when we already know it?

Nine times out of ten you would never know it unless Cramer had already pointed out what kind of trades he was doing. The point is that few others in Cramer's position provide the public with that kind of info. When much of your "laundry" is out in the open like that, it's the losing trades that stand out the most. Fact is there have also been many trades that Cramer has written about that weeks or days later turned out to be big winners. But personally, I'm not looking as much for info on the winning trades Cramer makes. It's the losing ones that get the most attention, but they're also the ones that readers can learn the most from. Better that Cramer continue to talk about his losers too.
