OK, big deal. You are the first to use the term "middleman" regarding Amazon. Did you act on this insight by shorting it ? If so, you are sitting on large profits now. Why bother claiming credit. Will it benefit you in any way ?

John, this is the last time I will reply on this matter. This issue of what is a middleman, and how to differentiate yourself and NOT be one has been wrestled with by all e-commerce companies for a long time. The term middleman is something Barrons uses to talk to their unsophisticated readership, the technical term is "value integrator" used in the supply chain management sense. BTW investing is my job and prior to that it was e-commerce logistics. I am somewhat familiar with your John Chen thread.
