SW - agreed on both counts - but the fat lady may not have finished singing on ARTT. I'm just greatly relieved that your worst fears were not realized and that I will not be punished by the investing gods for straying from my discipline. TGCC has run up so far so fast that I have a hard time feeling that it is not getting ahead of itself. Based on the sales that have been announced, it probably is, but I think there is much going on behind the scenes that will bode well for the future. On the other hand, there are a few things coming down the pike that could continue to drive the stock for a good bit yet.

I looked at the Annual Report the other night. I thought it was great. Big improvement over prior years. Some of Bill R's letter that I liked the best was this:

"The world's markets urgently need broadband capacity to enable sophisticated data services, enhanced video conferencing, e-commerce, distance learning, telemedicine and a wealth of advanced applications. This demand has created a shortage of "last-mile" bandwidth capacity. Given the serious physical, cost and timing constraints of fiber optics, WinStar's Wireless Fiber service has emerged as the best solution to satisfy this bandwidth need; one that thousands of customers now rely on for their telecommunications needs.
:
WinStar's momentum is also being driven by the significant and rapidly rising recognition and acceptance of convergence itself, where information, computer technology and broadband networks become seamlessly integrated. At the same time that convergence is taking hold, out network is feeding and fueling it."

If bandwidth is king, then convergence is queen. All hail.
