The debate over market makers is winding down it appears, but I can't help wondering who are represented in the mysterious "gray area" on Thompson I-Watch's pie chart. Today the chart indicated a 30-70 split between institutional and "non I-Watch" categories. In other words, there was NO retail trading. That doesn't look right, but even if some of the gray trades were retail, it could be that the pros were doing most of the trading and accumulating. Who are the gray ones? Market makers? Maybe Bob Cohen or Zeev could shed some light on this. Anybody?
