Dear me, Bob. I made the statement about the some of the founders. They lived in a democracy and they were politicians within an essentially Christian country. Their being afraid to speak plainly was a matter of political survival.

This exactly the way things work today. Then it was religion. Today it is abortion. Society will always have its litmus tests. So then perhaps we should force everyone to be neutral on everything so no one will feel "left out."
