I don't know why making a little profit for a change is such a g^%#mn bad thing.

I don't either but the bond market is apoplectic! <vbg> I think the media doesn't help either with all their tabloid hype about inflation but then we know they always exaggerate. <g>

New Home Sales for April = +9.2%

Sales of new one-family houses in April 1999 were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 978,000 according to estimates released today by the U.S. Department of Commerce's Bureau of the Census and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. This is 9 (+/-9) percent above the revised March rate of 896,000 and 11 (+/-10) percent above the April 1998 rate of 880,000.
