I don't have any particular desire to stimulate competition at this point, either, i'm more likely to buy than to sell ... actually i'm considering upgrading it from 'speculative' status so i can allow it a bigger percentage of portfolio [i'm pretty strict about that diversification stuff, it's saved me from losses ... saved me from profits as well] ... Winspear is about to make its home run this summer and i have a couple of speckies running, profit-taking time coming up ... there are some other good buys out there i think - suf, bit, gle if it backs off a bit, a few junior oils, some cco, aur when it fills its gap, and i'd like to play Diamondex to some extent, but a healthy portion will go to jdx ..... it is starting to look like maybe jdx might not make its deal before full summer, so that could mean September, which would mean the low .70s or better at some point. Which would be great.

But there is something about the ego strokes of making the right call -g- ... one guy i know [we bought Barrick at roughly the same time in '87] got at least a 20-bagger on dfr, he had a pile of papers and maps on it two feet high, he kept talking it up all the way, but it was always a little too expensive for me and i never took the time to study it .... so, i owe him one -g-
