The real question is whether this company will ever make money. I think not. $50 is too much.

To all: I stepped up to the plate today and purchased
AMZN at 110. I will buy additional shares if it cracks
the 100 dollar barrier this morning. I bought today for
several reasons. Two of the best reasons are the Company's
business model and the fact the Barron's story was a PURE
MANIPULATION PLAY!! Who the hell are they trying to kid??
They had some nerve comparing AMZN to DELL. Its SOOOOOOOOO
obvious that many of the Big Boys have been burned by the
demise of DELL and they'll attempt any attack on the internet
giants (like AMZN) to make a killing on the downside!! In any
event Amazon's strong fundamentals will only get stronger as
we proceed into the late summer and the new Christmas season.
Today should be a significant turning point in the stock as
the news of the low life Barron's article plays a General
Macarthur-and just fades away. Good Luck and see ya back at
200 by late August!!! Go AMZN and screw Barrons!!!!

>>Remember this. If goes to $50 next stop is Chapter 11<<
Gosh, what a mouth full!! I'm glad you don't have a position in this stock. For it's become the most discussed stock since Bre-x mining!

>>if Amazon goes to $50 as you say then it would be a lousy investment because to trade at such a low price means a total loss of confidence from investors.<<

Earth to Option007

What you are forgetting is that on a pre-split basis even $50 represents huge appreciation from the original IPO. At $50 I may not still be shorting AMZN but I sure will not be long.
