Darren, thank you for that highly structured and lengthy reply. I'm jammed at the moment, and will have to review it later on, and get back to you later in the day.

I would like to mention in passing, and at the same time assure you and others here, that my earlier question to you concerning the citing of attributions [when you cite other sources, like we all do] was genuine, and entirely benign in intent. It actually did stem from some earlier posts where you appeared to seamlessly introduce passages which blended in with your own, or at least that's how it appeared.

I suppose I'm still smarting from an earlier experience of mine, when I once omitted using quotation marks (and as I recall, the italics were lost during an earlier version of SI when italic attribute delimiters were erased during editing functions) in referencing someone else's statements in a post. The original author's views thus apparently became my own (or that's how it appeared to onlookers who weren't following the discussion), and I found myself in the awkward position of having to defend the other guy's views, and explaining my way out. FWIW.

Best Regards, Frank Coluccio
