There are more problems with Iridium, so far they only have around ten thousand subscribers, and signal penetration into buildings is poor and sometimes non-existant. They may need to change the focus of their market, using modems and mounting cameras on transport vehicles reporting location and condition of freight and a host of other uses. The current market plan is clearly a flop, they had better get very creative, very soon.
