INTEL CORP said it will invest $200 million in Williams Communications, which is building a long-distance fiber optic communications network in the United States. Williams Communications, a unit of energy company WILLIAMS CO, will provide network transmission services for Web-hosting computer centers being constructed by Intel's Internet Data Services business. Terms of that transaction were not disclosed. (Reuters 10:27 AM ET 06/01/99)

Hey X, they cannot even reasonably predict this quarter.

How do you think the anal-ysts are going to know what is going to happen in the 4th quarter. Then again, I'm sure that asking 50 individuals constitutes a statistically significant sample. Sure!

I know that in the past you played bet the bank and ride the wave on INTC. If you don't mind my asking, are you still in that mode and are you long or short at these levels?
