Last Qtr, AHP cited sluggish agricultural sales for their flat profits, so this is more a continuing story...on 3-1-99, they also announced they were cutting 3,000 jobs - mostly in their Wyeth-Ayerst subsidiary...so the problems could be wider and deeper than they've indicated. Not one to own, at least not this year, IMHO, especially with their fen-fen litigation woes.

BGR, That is what I was counting on with AHP, in addition to some weakness in the drug line. The Global economic recovery is only in the minds of folks who are pushing those stocks. For those trying to operate in the real world, it ain't happening.
