Hi gc, my question and point exactly. A very GOOOOOOD question.

Maybe we will become "enlightned today". But yesterday everytime I though about catching a bottom I found more quicksand so ended up leaving it alone ....

Question is WHO is buying and WHO is selling. No doubt there are lots of sellers, but what are the institutions doing? That (at least to me) is the question. What traders do is of little consequence, though it obviously does move a stock...and sometimes quite a bit. FWIW, from BT Aex Brown this morning -- AOL reit strong buy, target $200, recent weakness represents attractive entry point, acquisitions form foundation for music platform, Nullsoft and Spinner Networks.
