"Inflation fears?" Sheesh, these people are so behind the times. ;-)

It took everyone an extra month to figure out that Energy prices were shooting through the roof. Now it will probably take them another month to figure out that commodity prices peaked during the first two weeks of May and have been falling every since.

How can you tell or where can you check to see what the Market Makers/Specialists are shorting in total volume of any given stock? Just before the correction started the NAZ was trading 1 billion plus a day for over 15 days and then the volume was back to 800 million. Of course the NAZ has gone down steadily ever after. I know daytrades have an effect but I dont feel they have that much influence.
