CrystalBall -

I know I'm not the message police, but I have some Go2Netiquette that I follow on SI and that I think most everyone else tends toward as well:

1) If you're going to make claims, please provide facts that support those claims. It's okay to say "I feel like the stock will go down," as everyone can recognize that as an unsubstantiated opinion and take it with a grain of salt. But to say "The stock is gonna crash, I knew it I knew it, sell your shares now you poor fools," you've got to provide some reasoning. Otherwise you're not making an argument, you're making yourself seem like a moron (if you're wrong) or lucky (if you're right). This is for your benefit as much as ours.

2) It appears to be common courtesy on SI to not reveal too much financial information about yourself. For one thing nobody REALLY needs to know the value of your portfolio, so talking in absolute terms such as "I bought x shares at y price" is (to me at least) kind of inappropriate. You are thrusting your private financial information on us, and neither party should be comfortable with that. Plus, it can change the way people think about you in a way you may not like. For example, let's say someone that comes across as poorly educated and socially undeveloped claims he is currently in possession of over 4 million dollars. That makes me think that either (a) our economy is failing; or (b) he is full of crap. Catch my drift?

3) Spamming a thread with "I told you so" and "Mine is bigger than yours" has never been considered decent conduct in any organized forum, especially one with paid membership. WST has been guilty of this a little in the past but he has toned it down a bit and many of us are sincerely grateful. Please do something to make us grateful to you as well. You can start by using fewer capital letters.

Take any position you want on the stock. But please show some decency to the community to which you now belong and defend your position properly.

Now back to your regularly scheduled internet bloodbath ..
