That is correct.

MIT requires you to know how to read as a prerequisite for admission.

I am glad you had the opportunity to be taught to read at the University of Virginia.

I suppose your grade school and high school were more than a little deficient in that category.

Did you major in READING at UVa?

Or was that too tough a major for you?
