Ten,

I can tell you that RDRAM will perform better in systems which have multiple
sources all accessing memory concurrently, like the Coppermine processor,
AGP-4x graphics card, and PCI devices (A3D sound card, network card, disk
controller).

Ten, your post was one excellent explanation of some of the advantages and disadvantages among DDR SDRAM, regular SDRAM, and RDRAM. Thanks. The statement I copied at the top, is this because RDRAM interleaves better than the other two? If not, what? Also, the term I've seen from some others, maybe you also: "being able to leave more pages open simultaneously"...what does this refer to?

I heard you visited Cornell. College recruiting for Intel? Or, maybe it's late in the season for that.

Thanks again,

Tony
