Tortured logic?

You don't deny the fact that the Celeron was smoked by the K6-2 until they adjusted CPUMark 32 to accomodate its cacheless architecture, do you? It is well documented.

The reviewer himself implied that in light of the FPU-intensive application performance of the K7, the FPUMark test was flawed and would have to be revised in a similar fashion.

That logic doesn't seem tortured to me...

Elmer - Re: "Poor benchmarks that are explained away by tortured logic ..."

That was very well phrased.

You have captured Benjie in his own "Nut" shell.

Elmer, Re: Talk is cheap but it doesn't pay the bills.

Be reminded what thread we are on here. That's the norm.
