Well, as I've said before I am very opposed to the idea of abortion and the industry which has sprung up to milk it for $$$$ but I also do not believe government should be in the business of regulating abortion. In my opinion, the decision should be a balancing of the fetus', mother's and father's needs and wishes, personal decisions to be sure. A fetus is not a bag of cells to me, although this may be your position reasonably held and since either one of us could be wrong I would prefer to err on this side of life. I can not abide those who insist upon abortion on demand at any time for any reason. This is an extreme no less abhorrent than those who would seek to regulate abortion out of existence under any circumstances. This is about life and respect for lives, a respect we need to exalt and promote in our society once again. Every abortion is a tragedy, a loss of human potential, even abortions you and I might believe to be justified. JLA
