Based on expected operating losses and other "operational" data, CMGI will always look "too expensive". The same way Microsoft always seemed "too expensive" back in the late 80's.

CMGI is a way to buy the internet and all its future (pluses and minuses and certainly all its volatility). More importantly, you are buying DW and his management team. If you can afford to make the investment, I suspect these levels represent a reasonable value for this point in time -- maybe there will be even more of a correction/drop but given some of the smart TA comments on this board, I can't imagine that we are more than 10% from the bottom (and maybe not even that). Just my $.02!

Lin, don't fall into the earnings mindset when looking at CMGI. The company is valued on growth of investment assets, not earnings. I'd rather they showed just enough earnings to stay afloat, and invest the rest. Their "earnings" are just stock sells anyway, may as well keep it invested than turn to cash.
