Hello James,

FWIW, I also live in Lake County.

I haven't heard of any kids worshipping trees, and hardly think that it is representative of any relative increase in spirituality within society.

While the shift in many's people's spiritual focus has been away from traditional Judeo-Christian religious avenues, and towards less traditional venues, your characterization of that transition as "tree worshippers", is less than accurate.

The reality is that non-creedal spiritual participation is very much on the rise. The concept of One God that resides within all of us, regardless of our religious, geographical, or racial affiliations, is a concept that is rapidly becoming more and more accepted. The reasons for this acceptance will be viewed differently by different people.

My persoal opinion is that is becoming more and more widely accepted, because the inherent truth within that reality is resonating with a clarity that can not be ignored. Unlike many on this thread, I believe that humanity is on the verge of entering a great new age, an age of rapid and extreme growth for humanity, as opposed the concept that humanity is sinking into a cesspool which is the belief of many here.
