Intel to tackle the Internet

Chip maker outlines strategy to become
'e-business' leader

April 22, 1999: 6:38 p.m. ET

NEW YORK (CNNfn) - Intel Corp. executives
outlined a strategy Thursday to be a leader in Internet
commerce and said the chip giant will derive 90
percent of its revenue from electronic commerce by
2002...

uncle, since 90% of Intel's revenue will come from electronic commerce that can only mean they are doing it with RAMBUS TECHNOLOGY. It also means that 10% of it's revenue will be derived from other sources. this does not leave much room for PC's. 90% from electronic commerce by 2002 is hard to believe, but they said it, not me.

I have a family member who has countless advanced eng. degrees from notre d. univ.. He worked at Tektronix for many years before starting his own eng. consulting co.. He now works with Intel on special projects. One thing I can say for sure, is that Tektronix is a first rate firm & what the say you can take to the bank.
