the hunts had the rules changed by the fed in mid-game . miliken was outright fraud. we should see rmbs up today as shorts sell to take profits. the fud worked once again.the story on rmbs hasn't changed 1 iota. there is no standing in the way of progress. it is bigger ,better, faster. end of story .sell at your own risk. everybody on this thread knows how this stock moves. rmbs is caught in the drop of techs and internets. people may be selling rmbs to cover margins on aol, amazon, etc. this is a repeat of last summer. i'll look to buy more down here. rocky

-OT- Euro

An early test of the Euro would be a good thing. If it's gold it'll survive the fire. If it's paper it'll burn up and blow away before too many people are robbed by a fraud.

I would also worry about the fact that the Euro was a big mistake at least in timing, since Europe is in, or going into a recession,

Zeev,

As for the margin calls I am concerned about, are much more broad based. The Hunt brothers debacle was relatively narrow in range. But the CRB crash would likely take out most American Farmers, and the big Commodity brokers and many banks. a.k.a. blood on the farm...

Remember these people have much greater levels of leverage...and a much great levels of debt..

Just something I watch and think other should watch also, IMHO
